Outside of Apple’s apps, there are not more than two or three Mac app developers who have managed to sell me more than five of their apps. Three of these apps perform photo tasks not easily done in iPhoto or Photoshop. Fast, cheap, easy. I can crop a bunch of images, add a custom frame to photos, and batch conversions and size changes in a couple of clicks.
Mar 14, 2006 - EasyFrame lets you easily slap a frame or border on your photos. Why stick to boring old rectangular photos when you can make them a whole.
Batch, Crop, And Frame, Oh My! First on my list is the app that’s most valuable. (all one word).
What it does is not simple, but it saves loads of time. When I’m shooting photos I shoot by the many hundreds. Thank you, digital photography. I couldn’t have such an expensive habit with film cameras. EasyBatchPhoto does the simple things by the hundreds. Convert images from one format to another. Resize and add a custom watermark to hundreds or thousands of images with a click.
Those same images can be scaled to a different size with a click. Or, do all of the above on a folder of hundreds of photos with a click. Did I forget to mention that it will also rename photos on the fly? Crop And Frame The Night Away A companion easy app is. It does what you think it does based on the title.

Drop in a folder full of a few hundred photos. One by one, view the photo, select the crop area, adjust quality, rotate, change size and name and click.
I don’t do as much photo printing as in years past, thanks to email and online photo galleries, but stays on my Mac because what it does in a minute is priceless. Grab a photo. Click to give it an attractive frame. EasyFrame has dozens of frame styles and the wrap your photo with just a click so you see what you get before you save the photo. There’s even a way to grab other frames and use them in EasyFrame. As with the other Easy apps, EasyFrame also renames a photo, gives you a.jpeg quality adjustment option, and can even limit files to a specific size. I don’t know how long I’ve been using all three of these apps, but I don’t remember using my Mac and doing digital photos without them.
Each is simple to learn, comes with a limited number of options, takes up little space on your Mac, and doesn’t suck up much RAM or CPU horsepower. What’s the catch? It’s three apps. Each one is inexpensive, but you have to buy all three in the bundle to get a break on the price. Together, they’re priced about the same as, which does far more (and is more complicated to learn and use).
